Mauricio A. García

Mauricio has been licensed to practice law in Mexico since 1998.  With over 20 years of experience in commercial litigation, corporate law and intellectual property, He primarily litigates business and commercial disputes, doing so throughout Mexico, with experience in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Cancun, Los Cabos, Loreto, La Paz, Mexicali, Rosarito, Ensenada and Tijuana.  

He worked as an associate attorney at the predecessor law firm Maldonado & Markham, LLP. His previous experience includes working at a prominent law firm in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) in Mexico City, Mexico’s patent and trademark government agency.  

He earned a Licenciatura en Derecho law degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and post-graduate certificates in Intellectual Property Law from the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM), as well as in Corporate Law and Trade Law from the Pan-American University (UP) in Mexico City.  

Mr. Garcia is very detailed-oriented and well known for his creative solutions and unrelenting perseverance in winning cases.
